Toronto will face humid and stormy conditions on Sunday and into the week.

There is a 30 per cent chance of showers early Sunday afternoon with risks of thunderstorms. According to Environment Canada, southwest winds will be gusting at 20 to 40 kilometres per hour. Despite the cloudiness, there is still a high UV index of 6. Into the evening, the wind is expected to be stronger, reaching 50 kilometres per hour.

Temperatures are expected to stay at 23 C on Sunday and Monday, dipping to 21 C on Tuesday.

In the middle of the week, Toronto will see some sun and get a break from the rain before it starts again on Friday.

There are severe thunderstorm warnings issued by Environment Canada for parts of Southern Ontario, including London, Sarnia and Waterloo.
