A Sunday event will result in several road closures and some subway stations will be closed along Line 1 over the weekend.

Events closures

University Avenue will be closed from 9 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. as part of the World Partnership Walk on Sunday. University will be closed from Wellington Street to Queen's Park Circle until the walk is over.

There will be partial closures along the following route, and drivers are warned to watch out for pedestrians:

  • King Street West from David Pecaut Square to Simcoe Street
  • Simcoe to Wellington Street
  • Wellington to University Avenue
  • University to Queen's Park Circle
  • Queen's Park Circle to Wellington (along University)
  • Wellington to David Pecaut Square

Lake Shore Boulevard closures

The westbound right lane of Lake Shore will be occupied at Park Lawn Road for road widening, resurfacing and sidewalk construction.

Major road closures

Northbound and southbound left lanes will be occupied on Park Lawn Road due to road widening, resurfacing and sidewalk construction, overnight every day until June 30.

Gardiner Expressway closures

The westbound Gardiner off-ramp to Lower Sherbourne Street will be occupied until April 2016 due to road reconstruction.

TTC closures and diversions

All trains on the Yonge-University line will turn back southbound at Bloor Station and northbound at Lawrence Station on Saturday and Sunday.

Replacement buses will be brought in to stop at all stations, and Rosedale, St. Clair, Davisville and Eglinton Stations will be open through the weekend. Summerhill Station will be closed.
