Toronto police say there may be other victims after a female sex worker was sexually assaulted the city’s downtown last week.

The 49-year-old sex worker was attacked on July 22 at approximately 2:45 p.m. at the intersection of Dundas Street West and Claremont Street.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment, but the extent of her injuries is unclear.

Toronto native Peter Gorshkov, 31, has been charged with one count of aggravated sexual assault.

Police are asking anyone with additional information to come forward.
