Police are investigating two separate stabbings in Scarborough that left one man with life-threatening injuries and another in serious condition.
The first incident happened in the Victoria Park Avenue and Ellesmere Road area around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Paramedics arrived on scene to find a man with a single stab wound. He was taken to hospital and is in serious condition.
Police say a suspect is in custody in relation to the incident.
Police say another man was stabbed in the back inside an apartment at 250 Brenyon Way, near Sheppard Avenue and Neilson Road, shortly after 6 a.m. on Sunday.
The man, whom police say is in his 30s, was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police have yet to release any information on possible suspects and no one is in custody at this time.
