INNISFIL, Ont. -- A suspect is due in court in Barrie on Saturday on a charge of first-degree murder after the body of a woman was discovered in a home in nearby Innisfil.
Police and paramedics were called to an address Friday around noon where they found the victim.
The woman, who's name is being withheld at the request of her family, was pronounced dead at the scene.
There's no word yet on cause of death.
Fifty-four year old Richard William Dowdell of Innisfil was arrested at the scene and has court appearance scheduled for later today.
