A 59-year-old man who was found lying unconscious on a Scarborough street last week had been struck by a vehicle, police say.
Officer were called to Milldock Drive, a residential street near Lawrence Avenue and Rouge Hill Drive, at approximately 10:30 p.m. on Jan. 28.
There, they found a severely injured man lying on the road at the foot of a driveway. He was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
On Thursday, police said that a "medical investigation" had determined that the man had been hit by a vehicle that night.
Investigators are asking for any video recordings of the area on Jan. 28, between 8 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
