Toronto firefighters battled an overnight blaze in Etobicoke on Sunday, at a warehouse in a commercial plaza that houses a coffee roasting facility.

Toronto Fire Capt. Michael Westwood says firefighters were called to 65 Carrier Drive, near the intersection of Highway 27 and Finch Avenue West, sometime around 4:30 a.m.

Firefighters opened all available hatches and doors for ventilation and were able to get the fire under control by 5:30 a.m.

No one was in the building at the time and no injuries were reported.

Westwood said it is not clear what caused the fire but it is not considered suspicious so the Ontario Fire Marshal will not be contacted.
