Police are investigating a bizarre traffic accident Wednesday evening that sent a woman to hospital with serious injuries.
Emergency workers responding to the crash in the Sheppard Avenue West and Jane Street area found a woman lying on the ground.
Police are trying to determine why she was climbing out of a pick-up truck, when she was hit and thrown by an SUV.
The driver of the SUV was treated at the scene.
