WHITBY, Ont. - Durham Regional police are questioning a woman after the body of a 50-year-old man was found inside his Whitby, Ont., home Wednesday morning.
The unidentified man was found with "obvious signs of trauma" when police received a 911 call and arrived at the home at about 2:30 a.m.
The man was rushed to a hospital in Oshawa, where he was pronounced dead.
Police say a woman known to the victim was arrested at the scene and is being interviewed by homicide detectives.
This is the first Durham homicide of 2007.
