The westbound Queen Elizabeth Way at Winston Churchill Boulevard along with the southbound lanes of Highway 403 at Upper Middle Road in Oakville have re-opened following a police investigation.

The Toronto-bound lanes were unaffected, as the OPP’s Burlington Detachment investigated a “sudden death ” at Royal Windsor Drive.

Drivers could rejoin the westbound QEW at Trafalgar Road.

Both roadways were initially expected to re-open by 4:30 p.m., however, due to an “unforseen delay” were expected to open by 6:30 p.m.
