Police are searching for two suspects after a car was stolen, crashed through several vehicles, driven the wrong way down The Queensway and then ditched.
The stolen Hyundai Elantra was abandoned on Ripley Avenue, just north of The Queensway, after the joyride.
Police have set up a search perimeter and dog teams are aiding in the operation.
The chase began at around 3 p.m. as officers tried to pull over the stolen vehicle in the area of Park Lawn Road and The Queensway.
Instead of stopping, the car sped away and smashed into another vehicle as it drove west.
Police were forced to stop their pursuit due to safety concerns during busy afternoon traffic.
