Two men are facing charges in connection with a high-value copper theft that police say took place over the winter at a west-end warehouse.

Police say the suspects entered a warehouse in the Dixon Road and Martin Grove Road area on Feb. 9, 2009, pointed a gun at a male victim, tied him up and blindfolded him.

The suspects then loaded a truck up with $389,000 worth copper tubing and fittings and fled the scene.

Neil Singh, 30, of Pickering, and Randy Maharaj, 31, of Toronto, each face charges of robbery while armed with a firearm, forcible confinement and conspiracy to commit and indictable offence.

Both men were expected to appear in a Toronto courtroom on Friday.
