More gun violence rocked Toronto streets overnight.

Police were flooded with calls at 4 a.m. after a round of shots were fired near Dundas Street West and Centre Street.

Investigators say about 20 shots were fired in total and numerous shell casings could be found scattered on the street and sidewalk.

No injuries were reported as a result of the shooting.

Police say they are still looking for suspects in the case.

Earlier in the evening, one man was shot twice while standing outside a Dairy Queen in Scarborough.

The shooting took place at around 10 p.m. in the Kennedy Road and Ellesmere Avenue area. A gas station attendant called police when the victim stumbled into shop.

The victim was rushed to Sunnybrook hospital in critical condition but doctors now say he is expected to survive his injuries.

Investigators with Toronto police 41 Division say they are looking for two suspects last seen running south on Kennedy Road.
