Three more men have been charged in connection with an armed robbery at a suspected downtown gambling house that happened earlier this month.

Police say five disguised suspects armed with a shotgun, handgun and two knives, busted into the residence located on Huron Street near Bloor Street West and Spadina Avenue at 2 a.m. on Sept. 10.

According to authorities, the suspects took cash and jewelry from the house and assaulted a number of the occupants.

Authorities arrived on the scene as the suspects were leaving the residence.

Police pursued the men on foot. One suspect was arrested at the time and police confiscated a sawed-off shotgun and a knife.

Investigators are requesting the public's assistance in locating the remaining suspect and one outstanding handgun.

He is described as a black male between the ages of 17 and 20, 5-foot-nine to five-foot-ten with short curly hair.

Toronto residents Jonathan Campos, 18, Jiada Lin, 19, Reeshan Kaushal, 18, Richard Duong, 19, are charged each with:

  • six counts of robbery while armed with a firearm;
  • disguise with intent;
  • unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon;
  • two counts of weapons dangerous
