One man is in police custody and another was transported to hospital with serious injuries after a stabbing at a halfway house Thursday evening.
The stabbing happened on the second floor of the Keele Community Correctional Centre, located at 330 Keele St., shortly before 6 p.m.
"We got here and we located the victim who had been stabbed multiple times," Sgt. Chad Nicolle said Thursday. Police say he was transported to Toronto's Sunnybrook Hospital, where he remains in serious condition.
No other suspects are being sought in connection with the stabbing, police say.
