Toronto police are searching for a person of interest after a shooting in Thorncliffe Park that left a man with life-threatening injuries.

The incident occurred at shortly before midnight on Monday on Thorncliffe Park Drive, near Don Mills Road and Eglinton Avenue.

The victim, believed to be in his 30s, was rushed to hospital in critical condition, but is expected to survive.

On Tuesday, police released a security camera image of a person of interest.
