HAMILTON, Ont. - Hamilton police say they believe an 83-year-old homicide victim knew his killer.
Staff Sgt. Steve Hrab told a news conference this morning police do not believe the death of George Washington Burnett was a random act.
Burnett was found stabbed to death Sept. 6 at the home where he lived alone.
Hrab says Burnett was last seen about noon the day before.
Police are setting up a command centre on Stirton Street today as they urge people with information to come forward.
