A man was violently robbed while leaving a nightclub in Vaughan in late July and now police say they are on the hunt for three suspects seen in a surveillance video that captured the attack.

The incident occurred on July 24 just after 2 a.m. around Highway 400 and Highway 7, according to York Regional Police.

Police released the video (seen below) Monday.

The man was accosted by three males as he walked to a parking lot near a nightclub on Interchange Way.

The suspects surrounded the man and one of them punched him in the face, police said. The man lost consciousness and dropped to the ground.

The suspects then stole the victim’s cellphone and keys.

However, the suspects continued to assault the victim by kicking him in the head.

When officers arrived on the scene, they said the victim had been unconscious for around four minutes.

The victim was taken to hospital and treated for injuries.

Police are asking for the public’s help to identify the suspects and have released a portion of the video as well as images.

Two of the suspects are described as black males and the third suspect is a white male, police said. The suspects were described as ranging in height from five-feet-10 inches to six-feet-two inches with muscular builds.
