Two people are currently in custody following a police pursuit that ended with a crash in Mississauga Wednesday night.
According to Peel police, the pursuit began after officers noticed a vehicle being driven erratically at around 8:30 p.m.
Two police vehicles were damaged in the pursuit, which ended at Hurontario Street and Burnhamthorpe Road after the vehicle struck a pole, police said.
A civilian vehicle was also struck in the area.
The two occupants of the vehicle – both males – are currently in custody. They suffered minor injuries, police said.
There was no immediate word on possible charges.
The intersection remains closed as police continue to investigate.
