Toronto Police have one man in custody but are still on the lookout for two other people connected to a murder in the city earlier this month.

Police found the wounded body of 35-year-old Otis Rogers in an apartment building at 200 Woolner Avenue, near Jane Street and St. Clair Avenue, on Oct. 6.

They went to the apartment after receiving an anonymous tip from a caller who used a payphone at a Royal York Road convenience store.

Detectives believe Rogers was shot to death on Oct. 5. He didn't live in the building but was allegedly well acquainted with the tenants. Police also said they believed the apartment was often used for criminal activities involving drugs.

After speaking with witnesses, investigators gathered a few leads in the case.

On Oct. 17, they arrested 23-year-old suspect Kendal Polius and charged him with first-degree murder.

However, they still need the public's help, investigators say. Police are asking for help in identifying and locating a second suspect who goes by the name of Carl or "C". This man is known to frequent the building where Rogers was found.

They are also asking the person who reported the dead body in a 911 call to get in touch with the homicide squad.

Rogers was the city's 65th murder of the year.
