A female pedestrian has died in hospital after being struck by a vehicle on Sunday night.
The incident happened shortly after 9 p.m. in the Bloor Street and Dovercourt Road area.
Police on scene say this was a hit-and-run and the vehicle failed to remain on scene.
Police say she was transported to hospital without vital signs.
The vehicle has been described as a white four-door Mercedes-Benz S Class manufactured between 1986 and 1991. Police believe it will have some damage to its front end. It may also have a damaged headlight.
The victim has not yet been publicly identified.
