TORONTO - Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty says he's determined to inspire strong confidence in the lottery and gaming system in the province on the eve of what is expected to be a damning report.
Ombudsman Andre Marin is set to release a report Monday on the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation.
The investigation was prompted by a television report suggesting retailers win a disproportionate number of prizes.
On Friday, the embattled CEO of the corporation announced he was stepping down.
Opposition Leader John Tory suggests Duncan Brown is a mere scapegoat and that replacing the head of the corporation won't fix deep-seated problems.
McGuinty and Tory, as well as several other federal and provincial politicians attended a Greek festival and parade in Toronto on Sunday.
