A man was rushed to the hospital after being stabbed on Christmas Eve in downtown Toronto.

The incident happened near Fort York Boulevard and Queens Wharf, just east of Bathurst Street.

Toronto police said they were called to that area on Tuesday just before 9 p.m.

At the scene, officers found a man in his 60s with a stab wound, they said.

The victim was taken to hospital via emergency run. His injuries are being described by police as non-life-threatening.

Toronto police said in an X post that they have arrested a male suspect in his 30s in connection with the stabbing.
