A 22-year-old Toronto man has been charged with speeding and with stunt driving, after being pulled over on The Queensway, allegedly driving 63 kilometres per hour over the limit.

Police say the driver was clocked at 123 km/h in the 60 km/h zone, west of The East Mall.

The driver's licence has been suspended for one week and his car impounded for the same length of time.

The male suspect has been charged under Ontario's stunt driving laws, which came into effect in September 2007.
