TORONTO - York regional police are investigating after several bottles of fake wine were discovered at the LCBO.

The LCBO became suspicious after several customers returned the wine for refunds.

The wine in question is a 2006 Negrar Amarone Classico, which retails for about $35 a bottle.

The staff noticed the fake bottles were slightly different from the real ones.

Owners of the Negrar Winery are devastated at news of the knock offs.

Customers who bought a bottle with the number AAA 09439731 on the neck label, can return it for a legitimate bottle or a refund.
