BROCKVILLE, Ont. - A Prescott, Ont., man has found out that giving an officer the finger while speeding past a cruiser isn't a good idea.

Police say the 61-year-old was speeding on Highway 401 near Maitland Road in Brockville, when he came up to an unmarked police car.

Investigators say he rode the officer's bumper for a while before deciding to flip off the officer and pass him.

Police say he continued to pass vehicles while travelling in excess of 150 kilometres an hour.

The driver, whose name hasn't been released, is charged with stunt driving, careless driving and following too closely.

His vehicle was seized and drivers licence suspended for seven days.
