A suspect in a sexual assault investigation is also wanted for armed robbery, Toronto police said.

The robbery occurred shortly after 3 a.m. on Saturday at a restaurant in the King Street East and Sherbourne Street area.

Police said a man walked into the restaurant, pulled out a firearm and demanded money from an employee. He then fled west on foot.

The suspect was later identified as 45-year-old Brennan Wayne Guigue, who is also wanted in connection to a sexual assault that occurred Friday, Nov. 6.

Police said Guigue is considered "armed and dangerous," and witnesses are asked not to approach him.

Anyone who sees Guigue is asked to call 911 or call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-8477 (TIPS).
