MISSISSAUGA, Ont. - Police say a man has died after falling from a tree in Mississauga.
Peel police say the arborist in his 30s was working at a home (on Heartwood Court near Hurontario Street and Queen Elizabeth Way) when he fell from the tree around 8:30 a.m. Thursday.
Paramedics say he suffered life-threatening head injuries after plunging around nine metres, or roughly three storeys.
Police say he was rushed to a Toronto hospital by air ambulance and died hours later.
His identity has not been released.
Ministry of Labour spokesman Matt Blajer says they have an investigator at the scene.
