Get out and enjoy the crisp autumn air this weekend – it may be your last chance to do so this year without a parka, mitts and boots! Here’s a list of outdoor events to enjoy this weekend:

MLB playoffs at City Hall

Join hundreds of fellow fans to cheer on the Blue Jays at the “Birds Nest” in Nathan Phillips Square Saturday afternoon, as the Boys in Blue take on the Royals in Kansas City in Game 2. A bigger screen has been installed in the square for the ALCS, so spectators are sure to catch every “bat flip” on TV. Game 2 starts 4:07 p.m. ET.

When: Saturday, Oct. 17
Location: Nathan Phillips Square
Cost: Free

Scotiabank Waterfront Marathon

If baseball isn’t your thing, head down to the Toronto Waterfront Marathon to cheer on 26,000 runners who will flood Toronto’s downtown for the annual Toronto Waterfront Marathon. Join in the festivities with a neighbourhood challenge, guest speakers and several viewing spots.

When: Sunday, Oct. 18
Cost: Free to watch

Halloween Haunt

Get ready for Halloween with an after-dark jaunt through Canada’s Wonderful in Vaughan. On the weekends leading up to Oct. 31, the amusement park is transformed into a horror-filled funhouse with roaming zombies, vampires and ghosts, haunted houses and a cornstalk maze. If rollercoasters are more your thrill, more than 25 rides are open, including Behemoth.

When: Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in October, 7p.m.-midnight
Location: 1 Canada’s Wonderland Drive, Maple, ON
Cost: Check website for tickets and parking
