One person is currently in custody after a woman was discovered dead in a St. Catharines parking lot Thursday afternoon.
Police say the woman was found in a rear parking lot on St. Augustine Drive at around 5 p.m.
A person of interest was arrested at a residence in Thorold, Ont., in connection with the investigation, police say.
Information on the age or sex of the individual was not provided by police.
It was not immediately clear if the victim and person of interest were known to one another.
Police say they are not looking for any additional suspects.
