Toronto police are asking for the public’s help in piecing together the final hours of a man’s life before he was fatally stabbed in the Albion Road and Kipling Avenue area earlier this month.

The victim, identified Friday as 57-year-old John MacLean, was found suffering from stab wounds at a building on Kendleton Drive around 9 p.m. on Feb. 12.

He was rushed to hospital via emergency run, where he was pronounced dead.

Police said Friday that they are looking to speak with anyone who had contact with MacLean on the day of the stabbing. Investigators are also interested in speaking with anyone who has information about his whereabouts up to 9 p.m. on Feb. 12.
