TORONTO - Former Toronto mayor David Miller has a new job.

World Wildlife Fund Canada says Miller will become the organization's president and chief executive officer.

Miller, who was mayor from 2003 to 2010, begins his new on Sept. 3.

He will oversee WWF-Canada's staff of more than 100 employees and lead an organization with more than 150,000 supporters and volunteers.

In a statement on the WWF-Canada website, Miller says he believes environmental issues are the greatest challenge of our generation.

He says WWF-Canada is an organization with strong values that seeks solutions to pressing environmental challenges.
