A series of construction projects will result in road closures on major Toronto streets during October and November.

In a news release issued Monday, the City of Toronto warned drivers that construction will impact those who take Spadina Road, Richmond, Sherbourne, Bathurst and Dundas Streets.

Drivers who use Richmond between Church and Power Streets can expect delays for 11 weeks, starting at the end of September. City workers will be repairing the road base and resurfacing the street and sidewalks. Two lanes will be open at all times.

The southbound lanes of Spadina Road will be closed between St. Clair Avenue and Russell Hill Drive to accommodate rehabilitation work on the Spadina Road bridge over the Nordheimer Ravine. The work is expected to last until late December.

Further south, one lane of Lower Sherbourne Street will be closed between Front Street and the Esplanade for eight weeks, starting in early October. The northbound lane will be closed for road reconstruction and bike lane installation.

A month later, the intersection of Bathurst and Dundas Streets will be fully closed in all directions. From Nov. 3 to Nov. 20, workers will replace TTC tracks and repair the road, sidewalks and watermains.

A full list of road closures can be found on the City of Toronto website.
