A man is facing three charges, accused of sexually assaulting a boy at an East York community pool.

The alleged assault happened in a pool change room at the Crescent Town Club and Community Centre located at 14 The Market Place, in the area of Victoria Park and Danforth Avenues.

The boy was visiting the community centre when he was sexually assaulted by a man

In a statement on Tuesday, Toronto police said a 40-year-old man was arrested the day after an assault was reported at the pool on June 30.

The man, who was visiting Toronto from Ecuador, has been charged with sexual assault, sexual interference, and invitation to sexual touching.

Toronto police said they believe there may be more victims, and remind the public that sexual assault is any form of unwanted sexual contact including kissing and grabbing.
