Traffic has resumed to Toronto's Yorkdale subway station Friday morning after a gas leak closed the area overnight.
Emergency crews rushed to the Yorkdale Shopping Centre shortly before 1 a.m. after a construction crew working near an on-ramp to the mall struck a four-inch gas line.
The southbound lanes of Allen Road and the on-ramp to Yorkdale Road were closed as emergency crews worked to contain the leak.
The leak was capped by Enbridge employees at about 5 a.m.
The TTC closed the station briefly early Friday morning, but reopened it once the scene had been cleared.
