CALEDON, Ont. - Ontario Provincial Police are investigating after a fatal motor vehicle accident in the town of Caledon, northwest of Toronto.
Police say a woman was killed in the collision on Simpson Road at about 9:40 p.m. Friday night.
Her name is not being released at this time.
Officers are currently in the process of notifying the victim's family and they say further details will be released when available.
A section of the road is closed for now while the investigation is being carried out.
Police are asking anyone with information about the accident to contact the Caledon OPP detachment or Crime Stoppers.
