Peel Regional Police have arrested a woman suspected of stealing money and credit cards from patients at a Mississauga hospital.

The 21-year-old woman allegedly entered rooms and stole money and credits cards from people receiving treatment at Trillium Heath Centre in April and May.

The credit cards were then allegedly used for purchases outside the hospital, Peel police said on Friday.

Khosa Parmbir, of no fixed address, is charged with nine counts of theft, nine counts of fraudulent use of credit cards and one count of possession of property obtained by a crime.

Parmbir appeared in the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on Friday.
