TORONTO -- Toronto police say a 27-year-old Whitby man is to appear in court on Thursday to face charges arising from an alleged sexual assault on a GO train.
Police say the incident involved a 15-year-old girl and occurred on Feb. 6 on a train travelling the Lakeshore East GO line.
Police allege a man sat close to the girl and appeared to take pictures of her with a cellphone before sexually assaulting her as the train approached the Rouge Hill GO station.
Christopher Fraser was arrested on Wednesday and is charged with sexual assault, voyeurism, indecent acts, criminal harassment, and obtaining transportation by fraud.
