Police say two people were injured in a shooting near Allen Road and Highway 401 on Tuesday evening.
The incident occurred just before 8 p.m. as multiple gunshots rang out near a home on Cather Crescent.
Toronto police Staff Sgt. Mark Barkley told ctvtoronto.ca on Tuesday night that no suspect description was available and that officers were still investigating the incident.
Unconfirmed reports said that one victim was shot in the upper left shoulder, while a second victim suffered multiple shots to the head.
Barkley declined to comment on the conditions or identities of the victims.
