LINDSAY, Ont. - Two men are dead after they were thrown from a snowmobile on Lake Scugog, near Lindsay, Ont.
Provincial police say the two men were travelling on a snowmobile across the lake at about 8:30 p.m. Saturday.
Preliminary investigation shows they came on shore and hit a tree, throwing both men from the vehicle.
Grzegorz Wawryniuk, 61, from Toronto and Wesley Sullivan, 56, from Whitby, Ont., were pronounced dead at the scene.
Autopsies are set to be performed on Monday.
