Two men are dead following the crash of a light aircraft in Clearview township on Friday afternoon.
The crash occurred near Edenvale Airport, which is located 15 kilometres west of Barrie on Highway 26.
The Ontario Provincial Police said the two-seater aircraft's crash occurred during calm, clear weather conditions.
An eyewitness told CTV News that the aircraft had been heading east went it stalled and spun into the ground around 3 p.m.
The Transportation Safety Board, a federal agency, is sending investigators to the crash scene.
