A 47-year-old woman is recovering after she was hit by a TTC bus during Wednesday morning’s commute.

Police said the woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries when she was struck by the bus at Steeles Avenue West and Signet Drive shortly before 7 a.m.

The woman may have suffered a broken leg, police told CP24.

She was briefly trapped under the bus after the collision.

Police said the woman was crossing the road and the bus was making a turn when she was hit.

Officers are investigating the collision and no charges have been laid.
