A Toronto resident was murdered in Fort McMurray, Alta. last week, according to the RCMP.
Saed Adad, 22, was found in a downtown apartment complex Wednesday, along with the body of 23-year-old Fort McMurray resident Idiris Abess.
The two men were known to police but Const. Karolina Malik with the Wood Buffalo RCMP would not give details.
Malik told ctvtoronto.ca that police are remaining tight-lipped about the details in order to protect their investigation.
"We're not disclosing the cause of death," she said. "Autopsies have confirmed that the victims died as a result of a homicide."
She said police have not made any arrests in the case but that the "investigation is continuing."
