Police are investigating after shots were fired at a Scarborough home on Saturday night, one day after shots were fired at a different home on the same street.

The first shooting happened at about 6:30 p.m. on Friday evening at Wickson Trail, near Neilson Road and Sheppard Avenue East.

Toronto police said multiple shots were fired but no injuries have been reported.

The next night, a gun was fired at a nearby house on the same street.

No suspects have been identified and police told CTV Toronto that they aren't connecting the two incidents as of yet.

Still it has shaken the residents of the homes.

"I'm very, very scared. I have my children inside. I have my grandchildren inside. People are shooting up on the street. It is not right. It's not fair," the owner of one home who did not want to be identified told CP24.

A number of members of the Amber family were sitting in the living of their home Saturday night when a bullet hit the window. The home was also hit in Friday's shooting.

"Are they looking for someone and are they going to continue as long as they don't get someone or does someone have to die before this comes to a stop?" Ruth Amber, whose home was hit Saturday night, told CTV Toronto.

The shots were fired a few streets away from the plaza where a popular local barber was gunned down last Tuesday.

Chris Thompson, a 35-year-old father of two, was fatally shot while cutting a customer's hair at the Cut Creators barber shop at 31 Tapscott Road.

Police said there is no reason to believe the incidents are connected.

"We don't currently have any suspects, but it is being looked at," said Staff Sgt. Gary Keys. "We are looking at recovering video from the area to see if we can find any vehicles or any people coming or going."
