Toronto police are warning the public after a woman in the city’s Beaches neighbourhood found a tack pressed into a chocolate bar collected by one of her children for Halloween.

The incident occurred on Monday afternoon in the area of Eastwood Road and Woodbine Avenue area.

No injuries have been reported.

Police are asking parents to “thoroughly check all candy received from Halloween loot bags.”
