Police have found a five-year-old Mennonite boy who went missing just north of the Wellington, Ont. area after he was playing hide-and-seek in a corn field with siblings.
Authorities have not commented on the condition of Jacob Berg, but say he will be reunited with his family shortly.
Witnesses say the boy was playing in a field in the Belleville area on Sunday afternoon with four of his siblings when he went missing.
Jacob is a German-speaking child, and rescue workers searching the area were concerned he wouldn't respond to English calls.
So many people had taken to the field in search of the boy that search crews worried tracking dogs wouldn't be able to pick up the child's scent.
Search and rescue crews scoured the area, as well as a nearby swamp for Jacob.
Jacob and his family live in the area and were visiting a family friend when he went missing.
