Toronto police took a woman into custody Friday after discovering a suspicious death.
Officers were dispatched to 4301 Kingston Rd. at about 10:37 a.m.
As they entered an apartment at that address, they noticed the lifeless body of a woman, along with a 20-year-old woman.
The 43 Division officers arrested the 20-year-old at the scene.
Police are trying to identify the deceased woman. Homicide investigators have been called to the case.
In a separate incident, police have identified Venacio Julien, 27, as Toronto's second homicide victim of 2011.
Police were called to a shooting at 1021 Birchmount Rd. on Wednesday.
They found Julien suffering from gunshot wounds in the first-floor hallway. He died in hospital of his injuries.
