A 12-year-old boy reported missing in Scarborough has been found safe.
The boy was reported missing at approximately 5 p.m. on Monday, in the area of Sheppard Avenue and Meadowvale Road. At the time, police expressed concern for the safety of the boy who they said is developmentally delayed.
Investigators said the boy was found safe early Tuesday morning.
