The man found dead in a Scarborough industrial plaza on Wednesday has been identified as Toronto resident Julian Richard Lee.
The 31-year-old’s body was found inside a commercial unit at 1970 Ellesmere Road. Police have not released a cause of death.
Police received a call for “unknown trouble” at the address on Wednesday afternoon and arrived to find Lee dead. A woman who was with him in the unit was not hurt.
A white Mercedes SUV was seen fleeing from the scene. The vehicle was later discovered at Bayview Avenue and Sheppard Avenue East and taken for forensic testing.
Police continue to hunt for suspects.
