LONDON, Ont. - Police in London, Ont., say an 18-year-old Brampton man is facing charges in the wounding of a Mississauga teen earlier this week.
Investigators say the 18-year-old from Mississauga was shot early Wednesday at a hotel in London and was released from hospital on Thursday.
Police say the accused was arrested early Friday morning when officers executed a search warrant in Woodstock, Ont.
Police say a restricted firearm and ammunition, along with a quantity of crack cocaine and cash were seized during the search.
Deion Cuvilie faces charges that include careless use of firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm, and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Investigators say the suspect and the victim are known to each other and the circumstances of the shooting are still being probed.
